Chicken Tagine (slow-cooker) & Lime Meringue Pie
An easy and flavoursome whole chicken done in the slow-cooker, followed by an old fave (lemon meringue pie) only made with my abundant supply of “fresh off the tree” limes. What could be better on a winter’s night.

Slow cooking makes everyones life easier, whether you are a busy mum, active retiree, working full time or all of the above, being able to put dinner on first thing in the morning and forget about it is definitely a plus all round. This delicious Beef Strog was a real winner with the family and the leftovers were had on toast.
